कन्प्यूशियस उवाच

तवाग्रदृष्टिर्यदि वर्षसीमिता निधेहि शालिं दशवर्षसीमिता

निधेहि वृक्षान् यदि सा शताब्दिप्रान्ता सखेऽध्यापय बालकान् ध्रुवम् ॥

"If your plan is for one year, plant rice;
If your plan is for ten years, plant trees;
If your plan is for hundred years, educate children."
