सुभाषितम्
सम्मार्जनीं स्वरसनां खलु मन्यमानाः
केचित् स्वचित्तशुचितां
पुरुषा यतन्ते ।
कुर्वन्त एव कलुषं परमानसं ते
दूष्य़ा भवन्ति
परिमार्जनधूलिदिग्धाः ॥
Some people
considering that their tongue is a broom indeed try to clean their minds.
While they soil the mind of an other person (in doing so),
they become condemnable smeared by the dust caused by the cleaning.- - - -
