नववर्षशुभाकाङ्क्षा

      पुष्पामोदैः मनोज्ञैः श्रुतिमधुररवैः कूजितैः कोकिलानां 

      रम्यैः चूतप्ररोहैः हरितदलमयैः तर्पयन् मानसं नः ।

      संप्राप्ते चैत्रमासे मृदुपवनहिते नव्यवर्षे वसन्ते  

      आवर्षान्तं मुकुन्दः प्रदिशतु कृपया मङ्गलं चेतनानाम् ॥

While at the beginning of the year in the month of Chaitra which is having a pleasant breeze, spring has arrived bringing happiness to us with beautiful mango sprouts full of green leaves, with pleasant fragrance of flowers and with the cooing of cuckoos pleasant to the ears, May Lord Mukunda be kind enough to bring auspiciousness to all beings through out the year.
